I am broke

Yes that's right kids...broke!! Can you believe that? I blame school....I can't work as much because of school and all this damn homework I have and because I can't work..I don't have $$$..it's a vicious cycle. Yeah so that's the word right now. On the upside..I'm doing well in school so I guess that's a positive in this negative equation. AND--I'll be in New York in a couple of weeks, which I am looking forward to! That's about all that's happening with me right now besides all the weddings I've been going to. This blog is just a bunch of randomn nothingness and I think I'll stop here.

ROCK BAND!!

I looove playing this damn game. It's similar to Guitar Hero only you have a singer, dummer and bassist as well as a guitarist. I was the drummer last night and we rocked out lol. I kinda sucked at the beginning but it was so fun once I got the hang of it. Anywho, in other news, I start school on Tuesday which I'm excited/sad about. Excited to start but sad to get off my lazy ass and start learning shit haha. I also have been doing a good job keeping my new years resolutions going. I have been going to the gym and running and eating a lot better than I was. Just got back from Big Bear--absolutely beautiful. thee end. Yeah we played in the snow and had a snowball fight and Shawn just had to throw a snowball and hit me in the face..haha but it was all good. I probably could've stayed up there forever and taken in all the beauty of the mountains but unfortunately we had to leave and come back to reality aka Chino. Well that's all for today, gotta go to work and make that money! Take care babies : )

It's been too long!!

That's right people it's been too long since I've posted anything, and I wonder if in fact there are any people who even read this boring blog since I don't write much in it! But after a long hiatus, I've decided to turn over a new leaf in 2008 and see what the word actually is.

Last year I accomplished so much and am extremely proud of myself and the person I have become. I can hardly wait for this year to get going and see what kinds of shenangigans I will get myself into. I just registered for classes at Cal State Fullerton, for which I am very excited! I feel like finally I am headed toward something in my pursuit of a career in journalism. For those of you who know me, know that I had the opportunity to do an internship at the Tribune newspaper for the business section. I had the greatest editor in the world...and I mean that. I learned so much from him and he let me do everything that a staff reporter would do. I really had a miniscule idea of what path I wanted to take in journalism when I started at the Trib until I stood in front of the camera and interviewed someone. It was though at that very moment I had an epiphany. I LOVED that spotlight and grandeur..lol..of being on the camera talking and watching myself later while it was edited. Some would call me somewhat of a ham, and maybe I am...maybe I should try poetry instead LOL. (if you don't get it, re-read the previous sentence!) The jist, I guess, would be that now I am on track towards a goal, I couldn't be happier. I still work at Islands..love it/hate it...but mostly hate it now--but it is a job and I do need the dinero so I stick with it. And I have met some of the most wonderful people, those are nearest and dearest to my heart there so for that, I will stay. At least until a better opportunity comes for me. This turned out to be one of the longest blogs I have ever written...which isn't many, I think I've only posted like 10. Kind of a random one as well..but then again so am I.

Among my many new year's resolutions, that I hope to keep, one of which will be to update this blog more often, sometimes with pictures to make it look cool, and find out what the word actually is.
